About Seventh-day Adventists
The Seventh-day Adventist Church grew out of the Millerite movement during the great religious awakening of the 1800's. When farmer and Bible student William Miller began preaching the soon coming of Jesus Christ in the 1830's, people from all denominations flocked to hear him speak. His knowledge of scripture and particularly the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation astounded and excited the populace. More >>
What Seventh-day Adventists Believe
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. More >>
Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Seventh-day Adventist Health Message
Since the 1860s when the church began, wholeness and health have been an emphasis of the Adventist church. Adventists are known for presenting a "health message" that recommends vegetarianism and promotes following the health laws established at creation and reaffirmed in Leviticus 11. More>>
