Birmingham 1st Church is delighted to work with Voice of Prophecy ministry as a local chapter of Discover Bible School. Our ministry provides a local presence to those requesting Bible Studies through Voice of Prophecy in our area.
The Voice of Prophecy Bible School began February 1, 1942. The Bible School was named The Bible School of the Air, and was one of the first Correspondence Bible Schools in North America. The Bible School is part of the Voice of Prophecy Radio Broadcast Ministry. The radio broadcast began in 1929 and has been a continuous broadcast since that date. The Bible School has affiliate schools in over 120 countries with lessons in over 80 languages and dialects. Bible study guides are offered in several different formats, which include small groups, Internet, video/DVD and correspondence.
Our ministry provides a local presence to those requesting Bible Studies through Voice of Prophecy in our area. We are also have many student from prison who are taking the studies including American Indians using the Native New Day lessons.
